What is TJL Pro?
TJL Pro (tjlpro.in) is a professional trading journal built for Indian traders on NSE and BSE. It helps you track every trade, analyse your performance, identify mistakes, and improve — with AI Coach feedback, CSV import from Zerodha/Upstox/Angel One, and a free forever plan.
Is TJL Pro really free?
Yes. The free plan covers up to 50 trades per month with 1 trading account. Core features — trade journal, CSV import, P&L calendar, performance analytics, mistakes tracker, and rule book — are all included at no cost. No credit card required.
How do I get started?
Sign up at tjlpro.in with your email. You'll receive a one-time OTP to log in. Then import your trades from Zerodha, Upstox, or Angel One using the CSV export from your broker's console.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. The free plan requires no credit card. Upgrade to Pro (₹300/month) via Razorpay when you need unlimited trades, AI Coach, and screenshot uploads.
Broker imports
Which brokers and asset classes does TJL Pro support?
TJL Pro supports CSV import from Zerodha Kite, Upstox, and Angel One. For forex (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDINR, XAUUSD/gold) and crypto (BTC, ETH) trades, you can log entries manually or import via CSV. The journal works for any tradeable instrument — NSE equity, F&O, forex, gold, and crypto.
How do I import from Zerodha?
Open Kite → Console → Reports → P&L → Trade-wise. Select your date range and segment. Click Download to get the CSV. In TJL Pro, go to Dashboard → Import Trades → Zerodha and upload the file.
Can I import historical trades?
Yes. You can import up to 1 year of historical trades from Zerodha or Upstox at once. This creates a performance baseline to measure your improvement against.
What happens if I import the same trades twice?
TJL Pro detects duplicate trades based on date, instrument, and price. Duplicates are skipped during import — you won't end up with double entries.
AI Coach
What does the AI Coach do?
The AI Coach analyses your trade journal entries — your setups, mistakes, notes, and patterns — and gives you written feedback on what to improve. It focuses on your actual trading behaviour, not market predictions.
Is the AI Coach available on the free plan?
No. AI Coach is a Pro feature (₹300/month). The free plan includes all core analytics and journaling features.
What AI model powers the Coach?
TJL Pro uses Claude AI (by Anthropic) for the AI Coach. It is trained to focus strictly on trading journal analysis and will not answer questions outside this scope.
Plans and pricing
How much does TJL Pro cost?
The free plan is ₹0/month forever. The Pro plan is ₹300/month (₹354 with 18% GST) — billed in INR via Razorpay. No forex conversion required.
What is included in the Pro plan?
Pro gives you unlimited trades, unlimited accounts, AI Coach, screenshot uploads on trades, and priority support. Free plan covers 50 trades/month with 1 account.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Annual billing at a discount is coming soon. Currently, TJL Pro is billed monthly at ₹300/month.
Data and security
Is my trade data safe?
Yes. All trade data is stored in a private database with row-level security — only you can access your data. TJL Pro does not sell or share your trading data with any third parties.
Can I export my data?
Data export is on the roadmap. Currently, you can view all your trades in the journal and copy them. A full CSV export feature is planned for a future release.
